Ranwa Yehya

Co-founder and Chairperson of ADEF. She developed the foundation's first project Arab Digital Expression Camps in 2005. Before moving to work on educational methodologies, Ranwa worked in the production of knowledge as a journalist and researcher in various Arab countries for 15 years. Participated in the establishment of the Inclusion and Diversity Unit in ADِEF 4 years ago as part of the effort to integrate her son Nadeem into ADEF activities.

Hitham Mohamed

is a professional autism expert who works with The Egyptian Autistic Society on several projects with different aged autistic kids. Haytham has worked as a shadow teacher for our camp to integrate Nadeem, our first autistic participant in 2019. Haytham was a great asset in our integration plan and worked after the camp in ADEF’s Inclusion and Diversity Unit to prepare the curriculum for training the trainers and train trainers on how to work with neurodiverse teens in 2020 and 2021. In 2022, he supervised the integration of two neurodiverse teens, one with autism and another with Tourette Syndrome at our summer camps.

Raafat El Bayoumi

has been part of ADEF’s educational pedagogy team since 2013, starting as a dance trainer in ADEF summer camps.. In 2019, he was the camp’s manager and implemented the first integration of an autistic teen in the camp. After the camp, Raafat started the autism integration unit at ADEF to build a curriculum for trainers to integrate autistic teens in all of our activities. He holds a BA degree in theatre and he participated in many projects through tv, cinema, and theatrical plays in Europe and the Arab world. Raafat is Teens Unit Manager at ADEF.
